What happens once you buy?

When you buy one of our PGDs or bundles, we will ask you to provide all details required for us to ensure you are legally authorised. Once you provide this information and purchase the PGD(s),  we will automatically send you the PGDs which you will be required to sign.

What’s included?

A PGD for the compounds listed above. The PGD can be used by pharmacists, nurses, dentists and anyone legally authorised to use one (list here). With some of our PGDs, you will also get a risk assessment form – if this is the case this will be listed in the product description.

How long is this PGD valid for?

Our PGDs are valid for 1 year and need to be renewed after the initial period. Your start date will be the day you purchase the PGDs and expiry will be 12 months from there. We will send you a reminder once you’re PGD requires renewal.

What about updates?

As with all PGDs, if there are regulatory updates to the compound or therapeutic area, we will update our PGDs and reissue a new one to you as soon as we’ve made the updates. We may use your email on file to contact you about updates.

What are my obligations as a HCP?

A responsible HCP from the organisation purchasing (superintendent) will need to sign each PGDs as well as the practicing clinician. This is to ensure that both parties acknowledge that the practicing clinician has read the PGD and will work within it, as well as confirm competencies and completed training.

PGDs do not remove inherent professional obligations or accountability. It is the responsibility of each professional to practise only within the bounds of their own competence and professional code of conduct. By signing each PGD, both signatories (superintendent and practicing clinician) accept full clinical responsibility for any decisions they make using this PGD.

PGDs owned by LK Consulting are only valid with signatures for the people authorised by LK Consulting. In the eventuality a PGD is assigned to anyone without LK Consulting having a record of the HCP using the PGD, LK Consulting does not accept responsibility and the HPC in question will be operating without clinical authority.
